View and Assign Messages
This short user guide will show you how you can view inbound and outbound messages in Text Chat and assign them to Operatives.
N.B. Only Staff Supervisors and Administrators are able to access this part of Text Chat.
Once you have logged in to the Cloud Portal and launched Text Chat use the navigation menu on the left of the screen to select Staff Supervisor and then View Screen.
Here you will be able to see today’s overview at the top of the screen, detailing total messages in and out today and the average elapsed time between messages. Below that you can see your inbox, and outbox. These two areas show the last few messages that have come in and gone out of your Text Chat account.
The messages that come into your Inbox can be assigned to any Operatives that are logged on by clicking Assign. A drop down will appear for you to choose the Operative you want to assign the message to.
The message will then appear under SMS Text Operative in Message Pending. The Operative can then pick it up and reply. Check out our Pick up New Messages user guide for more help on this.
