Continue Current Message Conversation
This short user guide will show you how to continue your current conversation in Text Chat.
Once you have logged on to the Cloud Portal and launched Text Chat, use the navigation menu on the left of the screen to select SMS Text Operative and then Current Message.
This window is the main window used by Text Chat Operatives; it is where most of the functionality that an Operator requires is located.
Your current message conversation will be automatically loaded into this window; so you will be able to see;
- Custom Fields – where you will be able to add details about your contact
- Previous Messages – which shows your historical activity with the client
- Messages Received – any messages that have come in that you have not yet responded to will be here.
You can choose to reply to the current message and click Send, or you can click Ignore and the message will be pushed to the back of you queued list. It will not be permanently removed.
