This short user guide will show you how to set up and edit Message Originators in your Campaign Manager account.
N.B. you can only access this part of the system if you are an administrator.
Once you have logged on to the Cloud Portal and launched Campaign Manager, use the navigation menu on the left of the screen to go to Administration and then Message Originators.
This will open a new page entitled Sender ID & Mobile Number. At the top of the page you will be able to see a box in which to enter any sender IDs you wish to set up.
If you enter a word, it must be alphanumeric and include less than 11 characters, remember that a space is a character. If you want to enter a mobile number you will need to start it with the country code (e.g. 44 for UK) and tick the box, Is a Mobile Number. You can then click Save. The system will then automatically send a verification code to that mobile number, you should then reply to that message with the verification code to enable that number as a sender ID to receive replies.
Note: It is recommended to add an originator with a minimum of 3 characters as some mobiles don't display messages whose sender ID's are less than 3 characters.
Any sender IDs that you add will appear at the bottom of the screen in the list. You can edit or delete IDs by clicking Edit or selecting IDs and clicking Delete.
