If your customers are based all over the world, when you send them an app messaging campaign, you want it to be received at a convenient time, wherever they are.
Campaign Builder recognises your time zone, so when you are deploying campaigns, you will know exactly what time you are sending them. If you are sending to a group of users or entire App Space in another geographical location, it would of course be important to take note of the time difference when looking at the deployment time.
When your app users are all over the place, this simply isn't possible. So when you are deploying your campaign, enable “Sociable Hours”. These allow you to set times during which it is acceptable to deliver a message, for example 9am – 8pm, Monday – Friday. Outside these times, the Donky network will not deliver your message, it will be held back until the sociable hours are active again.
Sociable Hours can be configured in the settings menu, or on the Campaign Options page of campaign set up.
This means you can avoid sending messages in the middle of the night, which could potentially cause damage to your brand and annoy your customers.
