The Donky analytics reports allow you to measure your activity across all areas of the network in order to measure the success of your messaging campaigns. These analytics will help you to understand the affect you have on your customers’ behaviour and make changes to effect positive change.
We recommend checking your analytics regularly to see the effect your messaging with Donky is having across all your App Spaces.
This guide will run through the purpose of each report, and how to get the most from it.
All summary reporting will default to a view of all App Spaces and activity in this month to date, except a few reports which will be detailed later, which show data from all time.
To view a specific App Space, simply select from the drop down at the top of any page.
Where you see a time chunk option, you can select from the following time chunks to filtering your reporting by:
- This week
- This month to date
- Previous month
- This year to date
- All time
The custom time chunk can be any range you enter.
Changing the time chunk will affect all elements on the page, changing the charts and stats on the page to meet the new criteria.
There are a few reports that are “all time” and do not change with time chunk:
- Campaign detail pages for Simple Push, Rich Message and App Chat
- All time registrations by location map
- Users & Devices stats
All the charts will respond to the time chunk selected at the top of the page, but can also be zoomed down to an hourly summary, so you can see extremely granular data for reporting on campaign success and activity.
Once you have zoomed into the chart, to reset it to the view identified by the time chunk, click “Reset Zoom”.
If you want to export the data within the chart, you can do, to CSV or PDF (by clicking the relevant buttons at the top of the chart), both of these exports will produce the data relevant to whatever is visible on the chart at the time of export. For example, if I zoom in to view the last day by hour, that is the data that will be exported.
Data exported to CSV can drill down to an hourly summary, but if large volumes are exported (e.g. this year, or all time) the data will be produced on a row per day basis.
Some charts also allow you to filter the visible results by Operating System by clicking on the radio select at the bottom. This control will add the operating system as a new dimension to your charting.
On charts with more than one series, you can select and deselect the visible series by clicking on them. This will adjust the scales of the chart to ensure the best fit.
Metrics are the summary figures at the top of each page of analytics. We use these to help give you a quick idea of what has been going on without having to drill down or export the detail. These stats will change each time you select a new App Space or Time Period.
