Setting up Push
In order to utilise the native push channels (GCM, APN, WNS) you need to configure credentials for each channel on the Push page.
From the App Spaces page, click on the cog icon of an App Space then Settings, or the App Space name, and you will be directed to the General page of settings, then select Push from the navigation.
If your app already uses GCM for push notifications you can configure your credentials on the Push page. If not the system will default to using our existing registration with Google and you’re on your way. For more information on how to set this up, click on the link “Guide to setting up GCM for your app” on the push page.
Apple requires that the iOS application that wants to use push notifications via APNS registers individually with them, to get a certificate. This certificate can then be added to Donky Control so that the Donky Network can send push notifications to your app. You can download our guide on setting this up by clicking on the link “How to setup iOS profiles and APNS keys”, but it can be done through the Apple website and takes roughly 30 minutes.
